「Overall experience is brilliant: good lake view, good service, clean, comfortable. But there's only one drawback: the shower drains very slow. I had to finish shower in 5 mins to avoid water flooding out. I still highly recommend this hotel. 」

「This is my second stay here and it's not my last. This hotel looks unremarkable from the outside but it is beautiful on the inside. Open fires, stunning wood beam ceilings, a fantastic pool and the rooms are spotless. There are spa treatments available but we didn't make use of them this time. 「We found this hotel and it’s an absolute gem! Nestled above Lake Windermere, it has a lovely atmosphere and comfy rooms. We had both dinner and breakfast there and they were both tasty and to a high standard. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. We would definitely stay there again」

「Mainly stayed for Keswick Convention. Walkable distance from Base Camp and Main Tent at Skiddaw Street. It's quiet and near a scenic view from a river nearby. The lawn of the Hotel brings rabbits and relaxing atmosphere to guests. Friendly staff and great self-served breakfast. A good balance of price and service. Will definitely visit again.」
