Magma Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This was an absolutely gorgeous property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
Adventure Hotel Geirland
10/10 Excellent
"Everything was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and just two minutes out the side. The door was a great night for the northern lights because the weather cooperated but without any light pollution, we had amazing views of the northern lights right there."
Hrifunes Nature Park
10/10 Excellent
"The unit was very clean, loved the sauna but due to weather we were not able to use Hot tub. Great location for Northern lights if weather permitted."
Klausturhof Guesthouse
8/10 Good
"Comfortable beds and sheets, warm shower. Breakfast was not our idea of ideal. Not into cold eggs and cucumbers but aside from that we had no issues"
Hotel Laki
10/10 Excellent
"The staff let us when and where to see the northern lights, the breakfast was excellent"
Stracta Apartments
10/10 Excellent
"The property is as advertised and very comfortable stay. The cooking facility is lovely to have. I will advise people to buy what they need to cook before arrival as the property is far from grocery store and the main road. We had a clear night sky and it allowed amazing star gazing and aurora (northern lights) spotting as there was low light pollution if you walk far enough away from the property. The only comment is to include wine bottle opener."
Landbrot Guesthouse
10/10 Excellent
"Staff was very helpful. The area is very quiet since it’s somewhat remote from any cities. The restaurant had excellent food for dinner and breakfast. A good view of the surrounding landscape from most rooms."
Dalshöfði Guesthouse
10/10 Excellent
"The apartment was spotless, and the check-in and check-out instructions were easy to follow. Plus, we had to drive a few miles on a gravel road to get there, which added a bit of adventure. The view was also lovely!"
