Staff was great! Incredibly accommodating and kind. I loved how the beach was walking distance. Room was clean but aged. Just needs a little update. I loved that there was free parking onsite but spaces were tight. If you have a smaller car it’s great but I don’t think a truck would fit.

Access to beach is straight up and down. I rolled my ankle. Felt like you were going to fall through the patio walking to the room. Very rude man that runs the place. Said it will all be booked up and only 2 other people showed up. I’m positive they were not thrilled either. Said no smoking on premises so we didn’t but he charged us. Completely unprofessional and he absolutely doesn’t like women.

No ocean view. No housekeeping. We were given trash bags to put our trash outside. We were told to put dirty towels outside room. Hole in bathroom covered with plastic and duct tape. Broken toilet seat which pinched upon using. We had to go to office for towels, cups, Keurig coffee cups. Our room was next to a demolition site with dirt and tractors visible on leaving room. It was my birthday vacation and very disappointing. I am filing a claim for reimbursement, I have all documenting photos.

If you plan to visit the city of Laguna Beach, it is totally advisable to stay here, the rooms are very spacious and very clean and in front desk, very friendly, besides the property is in a very calm and safe area and very serene of the main attractions, I recommend booking your room with sea view and for your car, do not worry, the parking lots are very safe.

The room was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room has only a peek of the ocean, but is a short walk to the beach. The bathroom shower door hinges were rusty and there were metal shaving all over the floor and toilet lid when we got there. It looks like they attached the towel rack to the wall and drilled through the metal brackets. The rest of the room was nice.

Great location and value; staff was super nice and helpful. Love that you can walk to the beach directly from hotel. Beds are comfortable, but rooms and bathrooms need some renovation. Also would be nice to have a kettle to boil water inside a room - there is a coffee machine, but what if you’re not a coffee drinker?

My room had no shower water so was forced to use water from the sink and found cookie crumbles on my bed from a previous customer that had to been there. The room was not what I was expected. There were also stains on the chair bench next to bed so I had no idea what that was. Just a very uncomfortable stay there overall I wish it would've been a better experience. smh

My husband and I spent a couple nights at the Crescent Bay Inn as we came into town for a funeral. The accommodations were reasonably priced. The room was sufficient for the price and time needed. We were given the option of upgrading our room to Building C, with an ocean view, for a very reasonable price, however, we did not think the upgrade was necessary for our short visit. We were located in Building A, Rm#111 in the end unit. With this building bordering the highway, it was a little louder at night. We used a white noise machine to drown some of the street noise out, so it was fine for us. The manager, Sal, was wonderful! He's incredibly friendly, gave us lots of suggestions for dining and site seeing. The hotel was located within walking distance of the Pavilions restaurants and within 3 minutes of the beach. We'll definitely keep this place in mind for future visits. The bed was comfortable, linens & towels were clean. The room came with a microwave and mini refrigerator as well. It would've been wonderful to have extra pillows and blanket, but we made it work.

Overall, this was a decent enough stay. The outside of the property looked questionable. The rooms were dated and the bed wasn’t very comfortable. However, it was in a nice and safe area and walkable to the restaurants and shops.
