"This was our first time in Parry Sound, and we were not disappointed. The location, while not scenic, is close to restaurants, fuel, and shopping (There's a Walmart behind the hotel.), and it's not a far drive from the harbor. The hotel staff was really friendly, and we were welcomed with freshly baked chocolate chip cookies that were still warm and gooey and delicious. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also really good with a nice selectinon to choose from. The hotel had a great feel to it, like family. We would definitely stay there again! As aside note, for anyone who might be staying at this hotel or others in Parry Sound, we checked in on a Monday, only to learn that a lot of restaurants are closed on Mondays. However, we found a great one called Trapper's Choice Restaurant. Food was excellent, and our server was friendly and fabulous!"

"I always enjoy Tappatoo. We go every year. Staff are helpful, rooms are clean and you can’t knock the beach. Fireworks this Canada Day and 2 fire pits on the go. Mosquitos were something else but they can’t do much about that! Breakfast is always yummy and the view in the morning is impeccable."

"This is an older hotel with new owners who are trying to make it nicer for guests. The rooms by the lake have great access to swimming and nice little deck for enjoying the lake view. You have access to a high quality gym. Owner went out of his way to help me find a place to charge my EV. Good price for this part of Ontario, would recommend."
