This is a very modern hotel, but what they don't show is that it's in a mall plaza - basically in front of a wal-mart and behind a gas station. Not very picturesque. It was all new and shiny, but very under-staffed. On a busy weekend, they kept running out of breakfast items, so people just stood around waiting, 10 min or more. We were told "the oven is slow" but it seems some better planning or staffing might have resolved this. Check-in was so formulaic that the clerk had a hard time understanding how to do one step before another, and though we got there an hour after check-in opened there was some question of whether the room was ready for us. After a 3.5 hour drive, that is not what you want to hear.
The worst thing was the air conditioning - during a heat wave, essential, but it was so noisy and difficult to control - it would go off in the middle of the night like a car breaking down. The beds/pillows were diabolically uncomfortable, as well. But, it was clean.
We'll try somewhere else next year.
