「Excellente adresse : dans les hauteurs du joli village de la Bastide-Clairence (canon by night également), petites maisons de style basque bien équipées, emplacement idéal pour rayonner alentour, personnel aux petits soins, panorama sympathique. Une belle découverte hors-saison (février). Nous essaierons de revenir en été !」

「The room was spacious, clean with comfortable bed. Bathroom was good size. The on site restaurant was excellent value, and the food and beer were good. Staff were really helpful and English was spoken.」

「The only reason I stayed was because I had a 6:45am flight to catch and the hotel is a 5 minute walk to Biarritz airport. It is a motel next to the highway and their electronics door keys did not work for me and another customer who checked in. Minimal amenities and a bit noisy as next to the highway. Room is small and bed not too comfortable. Asked for 5am morning call they said ok but ended up no one called. The only thing I like was the dinner at their restaurant which was surprisingly...

「Het ontvangst ging heel gemakkelijk, en Juan was erg vriendelijk. Er werd een avond maaltijd verzorgd, die wij op ons terras van de kamer hebben genuttigd. Ook het ontbijt was prima verzorgd, net als de kamer, met goede badkamer en een apart toilet. Toplocatie voor een overnachting. 」

「Property is in the midst of a building site. The restaurant wasn’t open. Had to take the car out to get food and a drink which meant one of us couldn’t drink. Breakfast was extremely limited in what was offered. Air conditioning in the room was non existent despite us booking a comfort room not a budget one. Probably wouldn’t go back.」

「The hotel is very close to the bus station and the supermarket. It takes 10 to 15 minutes to Bayonne or Biarritz by bus. The staffs were nice and willing to assist us during our stay. The light in the toilet was not enough but it was not a big problem. It is a budget choice when cheaper rooms in Bayonne and Biarritz are full booking.」

「Hôtel magnifique de quelques chambres ! Très beau standing. L’accueil, le service sont parfaits. La chambre 9 est grande et très bien équipée (café, eau plate, eau gazeuse, enceinte connectée). Chambre très propre et insonorisée. Petit déjeuner copieux (brunch). Extérieur très bien avec piscine. Parfait pour se reposer et boissons à volonté. Nous reviendrons.」

「An unsympathetic rejig of an historic building, however it was clean, large comfortable bedroom with modern in suite facilities. A good base for local exploration or as a stopover.」
