「this was our second stay at the Hotel Gran Playa within a year, we checked in late due to flight delays from Madrid to Alicante in the historic (el Apagon) black out in Spain the receptionist explained about the black out and no electricity no lights in our room tired and hungry from the ordeal and no bars or restaurants to go to, a lovely lady getting ready to go home after her shift I was asking where we can get something to eat offered us pizza from the kitchen i think her name is Mercy,...

「We only stayed one night as a quick stop after a late flight. The hostel was basic, but clean and we had everything we needed. The lady was very friendly and the communication on how to access the property was excellent 」

「Really nice hostel. In decent reach to the airport. We arrived at 22.30 so did the machine check in with no problems. The restaurant had stopped serving so we got a takeaway nearby. Was fairly noisy until 12.30 but late night idiots kept banging around the corridors in the early hours. Apart from that the beds was comfortable and clean. 」

「Quiet, clean and comfortable. Not in downtown but there are taxis and buses around. You can also walk to the city, around 3 miles. Food at the hotel was ok and price is reasonable.」

「Gorgeous property, comfortable bed but slightly firm for me, very nice fresh clean, the cleaner was wonderful and made the room marvellous for the duration of our stay. Everything was fabulous, food was fantastic. Only downside for me was not being able to sit and eat anywhere outside of the room with our puppy, the hotel should make one little corner near the bar for dog friendly guests to sit and eat dinner. If i had left her unaccompanied in the room she would howl, cry and annoy other...
