"Our stay at Yoruya was perfect. It was a real treat to stay in a Japanese Inn style hotel with a beautiful and comfortable interior. The staff were extremely helpful and also made us feel very welcome. The hotel is extremely well located for walking to the Bikan Historical Quarter. "This resort was clean and the people were very friendly. But let’s face it, it’s a bit past its prime. We weren’t there for the hotel, we came to visit Jeans street. This place provided what we needed. A nice Japanese style room (bamboo floors and futons) a nice private bath and nice breakfast. It was really a nice place, just older. The hotel might be a reflection of the once vibrant city. The amusement park near by appears to still be functioning. I think Jeans street and a few other attractions are keeping this place alive. We did notice that lots of Japanese tourist still visit this resort. It’s still a place to come and one of the only options for the area. But for us, we found it outdated and a little stuffy. (My husband has tattoos and we got some frowns.)"
