"I liked everything except the bathroom, which badly needed some new hardware, water pressure was excellent. It's on top of the mountain be aware if you're coming from grueling hike. "My husband and I stayed one night and we had an amazing time. The onsen was spacious, clean, very comfortable, a beautiful scenery of nature. It was an absolute delight. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, cozy, very cute and we'll equipped. The dinner was the best meal we have had in Japan. Absolutely delicious! There was so much work into every bite, great flavor, beautiful presentation, amazing attention from the staff. We absolutely enjoyed our stay, the onsen, the dinner, everything. Simply perfect!"

"This is our second stay at Hotel Urashima. They've changed ownership so there is a difference in checking in There are stand alone Kiosk to check in. Not so personal. We usually get 1/2 board which is buffet breakfast and buffet dinner. Both breakfast and dinner have several pre dinner cooking devices that you cook your fish or vegetables. Breakfast could be improved. My favorite is the variety of onsens and the cave grottto is my favorite. There is also a shiatsu massage service."
