「I had a generally pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, and the neighborhood felt very safe and quiet, which made for a relaxing atmosphere.
However, there were a couple of small issues. The shower had minor mould accumulation, likely due to poor ventilation. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but definitely something to improve. 「When we arrived there was plaster on the walls coming off and a piece of plaster from ceiling has fallen in the nightstand.
The room was cold but there was a note by thermostat that said it is controlled by the company and not to touch it.
No desk chair and no space for such.
Right outside is also sprayer loudspeaker which goes off for the city 5 x each day for about 5 minutes each time.
When we did not stay and left they gave us no refund.
Even after discussing with expedia, expedia cannot...

「We originally booked at the Santa Fe, but apparently our room had been damaged by a previous occupant. The owner met us and moved us to a different hotel he owns very close by which was quite nice. I cannot speak to the quality of the rooms at the Santa Fe since we never saw them, but I did want to put in a good word for the ownership who took great care of us during our four day stay. I would book here again. 」
