I have been going to tis property for 6 years It has not changed. Tv`s didn't work then , useless now, lights not working or that you could not switch off at night. The hotel is in a great location but requires refurbishment immediately. Its desperate for some money spending on it. Booked and paid for through Expedia but staff not aware we were arriving or if it had been paid for. Requires attention !

Nice place

Nice clean room, quiet place even if it's on a busy street, close to the beach. We stayed 9 nights and we sleeped well. We would have appreciated a change of sheets once in a while when they make the room.

Lors de notre arrivée on nous a donné la chambre le lendemain car nous avions utilisè l électricité le propriétaire à pris en otage la carte d identité de ma compagne de façon à nous faire payer un supplément si je n avais pas menacé d appeler la police on aurait dû payer. J avais réservè trois nuits et nous sommes partis la première pour le moment nous n avons pas été rembourser

Great service is the only positive thing....

Service was excellent, but the condition of the hotel was pitiful. The staff was the only redeeming quality - always friendly and helpful. However, the rooms desperately need to be updated, the amenities were minimal, swimming pool tiny, and there is no elevator. The location was also somewhat out of the way of the island's main attractions.

Très bon séjour à L'Amarina Résidence

Séjour de 5 nuits très agréable à l'Amarina Résidence. Le personnel est professionnel et toujours prêt à vous aider. La chambre avec balcon est assez grande et la literie de bonne qualité. Le ménage y est fait chaque jour. L’hôtel est très bien placé à Lamai, dans la rue principale, mais il reste très calme. La plage se trouve à 50 mètres. La piscine, dans le hall, s'apparente plus à une grande baignoire, nous ne l'avons pas utilisée. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans cet hôtel.

Amarina, a hidden gem in Lamai

Amarina Residence is impeccably clean which made me feel comfortable. While it is a 3 star for amenities as the TV is a dated model and there's no spa or robes and slippers, it is a 5 star for cleanliness and service. The front desk clerk/manager takes considerable pride in the property and operations which is evident the moment you interact with him. I ended up staying for a total of 9 nights and this was consistent throughout my stay. It was a pleasure to stay at Amarina and the residence has a family feel where everyone greets each other. I would certainly stay again and would recommend to friends and family traveling on a budget. If you are looking for a simple, inexpensive location that is clean and comfortable, this is a great choice.

unkompliziertes Hotel in Strandnähe

Wir haben uns in diesem Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt, die Zimmer waren ansprechend eingerichtet und wurden täglich gereinigt, die Betten waren groß und bequem, die Lage zum Strand , Restaurants und Geschäften ist optimal ! Das Personal begegnete uns freundlich und zuvorkommend, ganz besonders Suresh, der Mann für alles. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis !!! Bei der Buchung darauf achten, dass die Zimmer nicht direkt neben dem Schwimmbecken liegen,dann steht einem entspannten Urlaub nichts im Wege!!!

Hotel bien localisé et près de la plage

Nous avons passé un bon séjour au Amarina résidence. L'hôtel vieilli un peu mais l'entretien est bien. Bien qu'il n'affiche pas le wifi le réseau avoisinant arrivé quelquefois à la chambre. La télé et le cable manque un peu de modernité. La baignade sur la plage est un peu périlleuse car les vagues sont fortes. Le marché du matin est à 10 minutes de l'hôtel.

Tres tres bonne accueil. Sura (le Receptionniste) nous a aidé pendant tout notre séjour. Trop gentil. L'hôtel lui est bien placé. Les chambres sont grandes et propres. A 2 minutes à pied de la plage Vraiment super séjour et en parti grâce à lui.

Gute Lage am Lamai Beach. Nette Lokale in direkter Umgebung. Dennoch ruhige Zimmer, da Fenster zum Atrium gerichtet sind. Sehr engagiertes und freundliches Personal. Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder übernachten.

Clean, comfortable, and centrally located

This hotel is clean and comfortable. It is located within walking distance to shops and the beach. The manager is very friendly and willing to assist in any way possible to make your stay more enjoyable. We were also quite pleased with our $200 baht bike rental from Amarina. I recommend paying a few extra dollars for a room with a patio, but be careful about ants outside when drying clothes.

Hôtel très accueillant, chaleureux et bien situé

Très bien situé à lamai . Je regrette juste la présence de lady boy au coeur de la ville. Hôtel très confortable et chaleureux. Personnel très attentionné et disponible. Chambre spacieuse avec rangement. Agréable terrasse. Seul regret la piscine qui apparente à un bassin. Face à la réception de l hôtel.

Modern, clean, friendly staff, close to beach

Pre-booked for 3 nights as we knew we would be arriving during Thai New Year (and did get a better rate online than through the door!). Staff were friendly but not around very much because of the holiday - but we're fairly independent so it didn't bother us. However, the room was cleaned well every day and there was always one person on duty. The hotel is nice, close to the beach and any food/bars you could possibly need. The beach at Lamai is good and the water is clean enough (particularly at the North End) - except after a storm and then you need to leave it a couple of days to clear. Pleasant little roof terrace if you want to sit outside and don't have a balcony.

Hotel très agréable mais...

Hotel très bien situé dans le quartier de Lamai, au cœur de ses commerces et de ses bars/restaurants. Le personnel est très sympathique et là bas, le "non" n'existe pas lorsque nous demandons un service. Nous avons par contre été déçus par la configuration des lits qui ne correspondait pas du tout à nos attentes : occupant seule la chambre avec mes deux enfants de 2 et 4 ans, un lit double était disposé, ainsi qu'un matelas à même le sol.

Hôtel très accueillant

Le personnel toujours là pour vous rendre service , accueillant, sourire. Les chambres correctes mais ne pas compter sur le balcon car celui ci et vraiment petit. Ne pas compter sur la piscine car c'est une petite piscine pour décoration. Cet hôtel est bien situé proche du centre ville et à 50 mètres de la plage.

Very nice!!!

I really liked my stay, the location of the hotel very close to all the amenities and the beach (although the latter is not the best and you need to go to other beaches). The staff is really friendly and they'll help you out with whatever you need if they can. I would definitely go back!!!
