"Not the cozy, quaint ryokan I expected, with busloads descending, but the onsen was lovely. Room was spacious but basic. Practically located 10 minutes walk from Kyoto Station. The amenities like massage machines, free latte machines, etc are great."

"No matter what temperature I set, the heating blasted until the room was more than 80F. The only way to prevent it was to turn off the heating completely, but then the room got down to 60F."

"Great location, easy to get to everywhere with trains downstairs. It rained a few days while were we there but we had no problems because the trains were downstairs and we also travel through the underground walkways. Very convenient with tons of restaurants nearby and a supermarket downstairs that had everything. The room was very clean and the AC worked great. I look forward to staying here on my next trip to Osaka."
