"Several swimming pools -- not to mention the Andaman Sea right at the hotel. An unexpected plus was the wildlife I saw -- a few huge birds flying through the tall trees, monkeys swinging in the trees, even a water monitor"

"The staff here is always so kind and welcoming and always looking for ways to help make your stay more memorable! It’s the primary reason I keep coming back! Especially the team running the Chantara and By The Sea restaurants at the beach every afternoon and evening! The singers and dancers do a fantastic job entertaining guests each night too!"

"Great hotel for families and some of the staff were excellent. Other staff were lazy and disappointing. Management has ignored my attempts to provide direct feedback about some serious areas of concern. Seems to be getting renovated. We tolerated poor water pressure, leaking AC unit over the bed, and nails being trimmed by staff in the dining area. If you don’t have high expectations from the service it’s a good place for kids and family. It’s a shame the hotel has so much potential, just needs to employ a strong manager."

"Room was absolutely beautiful where we could walk out on the beach. Mario was brilliant as our concierge and highly recommended. And the location was brilliant and well worth the money. The Maya Bay tour booked through the resort was absolutely amazing and would highly recommend this."
