「I have been returning to Velero Beach Resort multiple times over the past 20 years. The stay is always wonderful. The staff are exceptionally gracious and the location right on the water's edge is magnificent. Daily breakfast in the Sunset Grill is always a treat, only to be surpassed by watching sunset from the same location for dinner. I highly recommend the hotel and will definitely be back again.」

「Within the first 24hr of our stay, we experienced a number of issues which ultimately resulted in us leaving after one night (booked for 4 nights).
- the day before checking in, we received a message stating that the property was trying to charge our card for the whole booking even though we had already booked and paid in full through Expedia. Luckily the bank rejected the payment and we resolved the issue with the property.

Very friendly staff (Lucy was so welcoming and Kenny was very kind and helpful), clean safe grounds, gated, clean rooms with comfortable beds, stovetop, AC, microwave, sink, warm pool, on-the-beach lookout, kite launch next door at the kite school or anywhere in the beach, local produce across the street, restaurant down the beach.
