I had a clean room, restaurants and beach nearby within walking distance, and several local shops to grab a quick bite. If you are traveling to Sosua using CaribeTours, I would recommend trying to get there before dark, I had a bit of trouble getting a taxi from the bus station to the hotel. The main curtain in my room was covered in visible paint stains and remained that way throughout my stay.
