It is very conveniently situated near Truman University. I came for my daughter's graduation. The breakfast was great, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I was pleasantly surprised how nice the hotel was. The room was clean, smelled pleasant and the bed was super comfortable! I heard horror stories but this establishment exceeded my expectations! Everyone was super friendly too!

All but the toenails.

The cleanliness of my room upon check in needed some improvement. The bed sheets on one of the beds was either dirty or stained, there were water marks on the side table and big toenail clippings on the floor. There was also some sort of sauce on the side of the entertainment center. However the bathroom was very clean as well as the rest of the room. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well.

Decent for the Money

Overall it was a decent stay for the weekend. The beds are sooooo comfy! The room was clean, some upgrades are evident, like USB outlets on the outlets. The instant hot water in the shower was nice to have. Downsides: The WiFi is TERRIBLE. No point in giving you a password, because you don’t need one. And when you do connect, it is much too slow. I used my hotspot instead in order to use my laptop. The room lighting was really bad. No light in the entryway, there are only lamps in the room by the beds. The lighting in the bathroom is horrendous. They have a backlit mirror and that’s it. I had to move the floor lamp into the bathroom so I could do my makeup. They advertise brightly lit bathrooms… that’s a lie. And be warned - there is no elevator!

The accommodations were excellent, no issues. The room was comfortable with a fresh smell, no lingering stale odors. However, when we went for breakfast a little after 8, the eggs were gone and didn’t get replenished. Breakfast in general was a little disappointing.

Would stay again and recommend to anyone!

Everything went well as expected. The staff were friendly and efficient, even despite computer malfunctions! Cleanliness was outstanding. Even the exercise room was immaculate! Only the breakfast was a little disappointing. There were only a few allergen free foods and the fruit was limited and old. But at least everything was very clean!

There was trash in the room, crushed chips, one of the beds had dirty sheets, the tub and shower curtain were filthy. The front desk staff was great and other than whoever was supposed to clean the room not cleaning it the stay was tolerable.

The staff were amazing and friendly. However, we had to change out of the first room we had because there was mold in around the bath tub and there was dried blood and holes on the comforter. I requested a different room and this one was very dusty. I wound up doing a deep cleaning of my own. At the time I didn’t have another choice of staying somewhere else. The only thing I couldn’t do was shampoo the carpet (looked like someone had dropped pasta sauce on the carpet) or get the dust bunnies off the ceiling. The room wasn’t so bad after I did such a thorough clean.

Very, very over priced due to events in town that weekend. Very slow check in and when they had a system error that rejected my credit card, the attendant loudly announced to everyone, Your Card has been declined. When I told her that was not possible, she stated the system sometime has issues, manually ran it, and it was fine. Bed ok and room clean enough but tv barely worked and both the sink and shower drain barely worked. When we complained, they were not helpful. We will not stay there again.
