「A lovely hotel with very attentive staff at every interaction, be it front desk, housekeeping, breakfast, or the bar. The location is great, walking distance from everything in downtown, with ample parking.」

「This hotel is not clean. I lived there for two nights. I asked the front desk for house keeping; I also hanged up the sign of refurbish before 10am, for more than 24 hours, according to their instructions. No one came to clean my room. There is hair in food in their restaurant. And also dark marks on bedding linens; I feel itchy sleeping here. Too expensive for such experience. I don’t recommend it.」

「This was not good value for your money. The room was clean but old. There were pink tiles in the bathroom and the hallways were dark and look like they haven’t been updated since 1980. The breakfast was not very good. Frozen muffins, no hot food except waffles. This was not worth $220 a night.」

Checked out immediately (did not stay the night), staff told us we could get a refund through Expedia but 5 days later they have still not responded to Expedia’s emails and phone calls, so we are out CAD 144.
