This property is conveniently located between Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. Unfortunately, because of a washed-out bridge, the detour took us through dirt roads with plenty of bumps. Because the property does not offer any elevator in the main lodge, it is tough for older folks to carry their baggage up to the main floor and the second floor. The rooms are well aged and can use some renovation. For example, the guest room door would not allow the guest to lock the door from the inside for security. Also, there are major gap in the window of the room. For the price paid, I believe the owner of the property can afford to make some upgrade to meet normal standards for lodging. Without any question, the surrounding of the property is beautiful. However, the place definitely need more than a coat of paint to make it more attractive to its customers.
