「We took a spontaneous trip to Malham Cove for a night away. This lovely hotel is down a quiet country road 1/2 a mile from the cove and near to several other pubs and cafes. The building is very old and reached over an old stone bridge or the beck (stream) Parking is available and the room was nicely furnished with views of the water and a very comfy bed. 「This is a lovely quaint, quiet country inn/accomodation, which is on its way to be something special. The welcome, cust service and food were top notch. The owners have just recently taken over and you can see how wonderful this place is going to be, with everything being made future proof. They are updating it whilst still providing a wonderful experience. It’s also dog friendly in the bedrooms too (with beds and snacks for your K9 friend). I will definitely be going back. 「The room was very small but very nicely set out. The bed was very comfortable and everything you needed in the room for a lovely overnight stay. The breakfast was delicious, we didn’t eat an evening meal but the bar area is really nice. Nice touch in your room were 2 vouchers for 2 half pints of Timothy Taylor’s beer. 」

「Great bed, extra pillows. Good breakfast, wish it was longer. They were pretty busy so I didn’t feel right bothering them for the WiFi password, maybe they should put it in the rooms?」

「Host Debbie was very welcoming, the room was very clean and the bed linen very fresh. The room could do with a little TLC with a wonky toilet seat, shower door loose and the creeking floor boards that added character to the room. Hotel is located to easy access all Skipton amenities and surrounding area. I would recommend this hotel.」

「The Throstles nest is a nice quiet peaceful escape where you can relax and feel safe. The farm is located in beautiful countryside with outstanding views.Margret and her family are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Breakfasts are excellent and made with good quality local produce. The farm is literally two miles from the centre of Skipton. Hope to return soon!」
