「Such a beautiful property that really felt like another world, and a much-needed respite from our travels. The staff was friendly and attentive and the room very comfortable. Our only wish was that the weather cooperated to spend more time exploring the gardens and lake!」

「Wonderful lodge!」

「Very wonderful location and beautiful hotel. The card key access locations straight off the elevator (also card key access) felt secure but a little inconvenient. The room was clean, the beds were some of the comfiest I've slept in, and the AC worked well. Great stay.」

「The staff and service were great. There is very little parking on site. The shower was narrow and awkward. Room and bed were comfy. Centrally located. Walked to shops and dinner.」

「It's was ok, felt a little dated. Bed was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was a shower over the bath, which I personally don't really like. Quite noisy from the road too. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious and staff great. The main gripe was really bad water groaning... So when ever someone turned a tap on, you could hear this loan deep groan! And yes defo water, not a guest! Ha ha. The room doors all slam quite hard so it was generally quite noisy during the evening and...

「The property is beautiful. Location perfect. When we arrived there was a gentleman at the reception desk not very nice. We left our luggage and wandered when we got back for check in there was a woman at reception who was lovely.」

「This is a beautiful hotel, rooms are spacious and clean and there are lots of little nooks and cranny’s to sit quietly if you wish. The bar was busy and we ate there. The service was very good and the food, exceptional. Breakfast too was very good. Overall, a good experience but at a higher than necessary price. Also, there is no pool at this hotel and no pool next door, as suggested. You have access to a pool but that’s a five min drive away, so maybe they do not need to mention a pool at all....
