"We came to this hotel and this beach because it is known for sea turtles. My wife and I took turns snorkeling in the bay directly from the beach. We did not do a boat tour and talk to anyone about their location. On the second day while I was snorkeling in 5 feet of water approximately 30 feet from the beach I saw the first turtle eating off the ocean floor. I was startled to see it so close and was in awe of how beautiful it was. I assume the turtles are used to seeing snorkeling humans...

"A small hotel in a sketchy part of town. Rooms are modern and attractive but a very poor design. Toilet/bath and bed are all in one room, separated by a clear glass wall. The only way to get privacy is to close THREE blinds, and from the outside (bed side), leaving no way to enter the bathroom. Electrical issues--one light was not working and the bathroom light could not be turned OFF. Night clerk said shutting the blinds would cut the light. Also pretty noisy. Paid 1000 yen for parking on a...

"The house is smaller than I expected, and the biggest issue is the flat is at 5/F, so we have to carry our luggage to walk the stairs. Parking is easy but it's not free, but not expensive, highly recommend the restaurant downstairs."
