「I paid £205.00 for a room with a view. We got the view however the hotel was quite disgusting. Upon arrival you see a scruffy mobile home on concrete blocks and on the other side of the hotel it looks like a self build shed in a very bad state of disrepair. The hotel is so run down with repairs needed and filth everywhere. Our bathroom had a large jacuzzi bath but none of us would get in it and the jacuzzi did not work. 「This was a solid hotel on our way to Isle of Skye. The construction outside wasn't known until after the booking. And while not horrible, they started moving equipment about 45 min before 8am when the work was to start. We knew it would be rustic and it was. No frills but solid hotel. Beds were very hard though.」

「The Corran was a very spacious , clean. And well appointed accommodation. To get to dinner we used the local ferry which was only a 2 min walk away and free for seniors. The ferry runs about every 10 mins and is very convenient. Breakfast food was available in the fridge and was good. We had a bit of a challenge with the obtaining the key from the lockbox beside the door but once we figured outvhoe it opened it was fine.」

「The room is big, and it has everything you need for 1 or 2 nights stay. Very close to supermarkets, easy to buy groceries for your trip. However, it is slightly far from the high street. It takes some time to walk to the city centre, especially during rain.」
