「We were away for just a couple of days, and choice of accommodation was perfect. It was spotlessly clean, near to the front at Torquay and the owners were very helpful and friendly.」

Only after contacting Travelnest (the third company in charge of advertising the property) by phone on the day of check-in, I got a very short email from the owner about the check-in time (an hour later than advertised) and code for the key box. 「Lovely little diary cottage with plenty of space for the two of us. Everything you’d need for a stay in the country side and only a short distance to Exeter and its attractions.」

「Middle of March and still fairly cold .Main heating doesn’t stay long enough to heat up the apartment.I had to use the electric heating which run on a meter .I ended up paying £15 on the electricity meter for heating ,lights and cooker for 3 nights stay .The downside for me was paying to keep the electricity going .Just be aware when booking ,they have the old electricity meter where you have to pay extra to keep the electricity going for the duration in your stay 」

「An ideal family holiday! So much fun for children, exploring the farm, feeding and grooming the animals. The location is fabulous and in a beauty area on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. We stayed in Cider Cottage but would love to come back and stay in another cottage as well 」
