"Our room was lovely with a nice bed. Renovations are underway which I’m sure will make it even nicer. We’d stay again."

"Spa facilities and location excellent."

"Convenient location friendly staff big rooms value for money breakfast definitely stay here again"

"Clean room excellent customerservice"

"The property was was pretty much as expected, The room was clean and big. The issue we had was there did not seem to be sufficent sound deading between the rooms, as we could hear voices from other rooms. Could not hear what they were saying, but could near the noise. Luckily they went to bed about the same time we did and did not wake up before we did, but it not what we wanted or expected. It was in a very isolated location. That was not a problem for us, but something to be aware of. ...

"I chose a more budget room, so my view wasnt very nice and overlooked by other rooms (the garden is lovely so maybe consider upgrading to a garden view). However, the room was large, well maintained and I didnt notice any significant cleanliness issues. Bathroom had plenty of surface space for toiletries. The car park can get quite full if an event is on. Food and drinks I thought a little pricey (large glass of wine and a burger £37). Pool was nice and lots of gym equipment."

"We used the Hare & hounds as a stopover on our way home but will give serious consideration to returning to explore the Lakes from there"
