「The hotel is a little old and dated, but the staff were friendly and helpful (although at breakfast we were initially told that your name/room number was not on the list - an issue that was quickly corrected). 「Debra and Drew were very welcoming hosts. We used The Barn as a lauch pad to visit Chartwell and Knole. Perfect choice. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. We were spoilt for choice regarding local eateries. We chose The White Hart for dinner and it was top knotch. 」

「This is great, traditional English pub/hotel. It’s clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and the staff were excellent at all times. Would thoroughly recommend.」

This is a five hundred year old building so don't expect a Premier inn with nice even floors and shiny paintwork, however if you want a pub hotel with real character this place is a gem. Every member of staff was great and couldn't do enough to make the stay perfect. Unfortunately we didn't get to have a meal there but the breakfast is absolutely worth getting up for.
