「Easy self check in. The property is a bit tired looking and dated. There was no reception to request an early breakfast as I had to leave by 07h30, so left without breakfast.」

「Really good location for the town. You can park on the garden street car park, you pay 8-8 and free over night. The accommodation is lovely, it’s clean and has everything you need. Breakfast was really nice and fresh. Would def return. The restaurant next door, is 15% off with your hotel door key. The burgers are to die for!」

「Very nice and helpful staff. A parking garage and some shops and restaurants were in immediate vicinity. The hotel is 20-25mins walking distance from Halifax train station, be advised though that the entire walk is uphill since the station is the lowest point of the city. The city itself is very accessible from the hotel with most shops and locations just a few minutes away. Very decently sized rooms with room for your luggage without feeling cramped in.」

「Very poor experience, you walk in and you have to fill out crap on the touch pad and then walk over to the car park paying machine, check in should be quick, 2 minutes, all the faffing around takes 10 minutes. The extra £4 parking is a complete scam ....... If you use the gym is £28 per month with free parking every night. You pay £95 per room and you pay £4 parking -SCAM .... SCAM Never again, I have stayed several times but no more.」

「We were visiting for a gig at Piece Hall and are so glad we chose to stay at this absolutely wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Halifax. From the moment we arrived the staff were warm, polite and helpful and this continued for the duration of our stay. As it was such a nice day, we sat in the beautiful garden and enjoyed drinks and food from the bar menu before heading into town for our concert. . Breakfast (extra) was also very good indeed. It’s not the cheapest hotel, and not the most fancy...

「Room basic but clean. Facilities are slightly tired but adequate. The only slight complaint was that the shower was not much more than a dribble but the water was warm. Staff helpful and friendly. Note: Hebden Bridge is hilly and the hostel is up the hill from the town centre. It is not that far and should not put you off using the hostel」

「We had a nice stay here. The only bug bear was that there was not much fruit at breakfast. I do not eat fry ups in the morning. The only fruit was apples. Maybe a dish of mixed fruit or bananas would have been nice. The staff were really pleasant and the hotel itself was fine for our 2-day stay. The bedroom could have been a little bit more updated, paint off in most places, the en-suite was old fashioned, could be done up more modern really.」

「A very impressive site as you drive in from the entrance. A well presented stately hotel doubling as a Golf bar and restaurant which makes perfect sense. It appeared to be reasonably well supported and obviously a very popular wedding venue too. Only had a couple of nights here and didn't use the restaurant as we were being hosted by friends who had recommended the place. Somewhat aged and a little tired butt well presented and great staff to assist. Would definitely go back there.」
