"My daughter and I stayed at the wonderful Jaya House River Park Hotel. The hotel, staff and environment exceeded our expectations. I researched the conflict on the Cambodian border with Thailand, and determined it would not impact our visit. I was correct, we both felt very safe and relaxed at all times. The Jaya House River Park Hotel is beautiful. The design incorporates the lovely culture of the area with modern, artful and interesting touches. The room accommodation was first class. The hotel is a peaceful oasis, with beautiful gardens and grounds. The soul of the hotel is the staff. Their spirit of warmth, welcome, and personal attention have left an indelible mark on me. Every member of the staff was exceptional. The focus on guest satisfaction is outstanding. "

"Great stay at Sofitel for family of three. Staff were fantastic everywhere we went in the hotel. Concierge was great help in organizing tours of Ang Kor Wat etc. and shorter local trips that we went ourselves. Swimming pool was large and never crowded. Front desk always friendly. Great internet. Short distances to 7-11 and to markets. We are 150 km from the Thai border war and never felt unsafe. It did affect the number of tourists so everywhere is not crowded even in December (peak season). Paid for Club access and had free breakfast, drinks and evening meal (at Club Millesime) - good value for money. Breakfast buffet had so much choices and never had to wait long for tables. Staff so efficient and always friendly. Special thanks to the staff at Club Millesime - always wonderful every evening. "

"The room I originally booked they advised me during check in that it was full. I’m not sure if that was done on purpose. I asked for a refund of the difference and they told me they couldn’t and offered other services instead. It’s a bit hard to believe that a hotel has overbooked when everything was done online and the fact I couldn’t get a refund for the difference. I had a nice time here and the staff was really nice but I’m also not sure if I got scammed or not. The area of the hotel was not so great as it was far from any shops or restaurants. If I was to do this trip again I would have preferred to find a hotel closer to walking street where the restaurant and night market is as we went there every night after the temples to grab dinner. "
