"We were very disappointed with our stay. After check-in, we found the toilet seat broken. The reception informed us it could be repaired in the evening, but since we had dinner plans, we agreed it could be fixed the next day after check-out. We placed the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door. However, when we returned from dinner, someone had entered our room without permission, repaired the toilet, and left dirty footprints and stains in the bathroom. This is a serious breach of privacy. No staff should enter a guest room when the “Do Not Disturb” sign is displayed. When we reported the issue, the reception staff seemed unable to understand why we were upset. In addition, we found toothpaste on the bathroom door and a large brown water stain on the duvet. So the room was never really clean in the first place! Mistakes can happen, but respecting guests’ privacy and maintaining cleanliness are basic standards. Unfortunately, there was no assistance, and no goodwill gesture. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience — luckily, only for one night."

"Das Zimmer war nicht sauber und sie haben ein Ameisenproblem. Wir hatten überall im Zimmer Ameisen, auch im Bett! Es gab eine Durchgangstüre ins andere Zimmer, dass anderen Gäste gebucht haben. Die Türe von unserer Seite war nicht abgeschlossen und wir haben es vermehert angesprochen, jedoch wurde nichts unternommen. Das Hotel hat ein grosses Problem mit Hornissen. Überall hat es Näster und diese waren auch vermehrt überall draussen im Hotel. Das Trinkwasser im Restaurant schmeckte sehr stark nach kalk, dies konnte man nicht trinken. Im ganzen ist das Hotel nicht weiter zu empfehlen."

"If you like a quieter location, less crowed hotel with great service, this is the place to come. My family stayed in a suite which holds 4 guests. The room was spacious, and although not full of features, it suited us perfectly. We stayed half board and food quantity was not lots, like some hotels, but for sure made up for in quality. Excellent food both for breakfast and dinner. Last but not least, staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to make your stay that much more special. Overall a great stay and will for sure come back. "
