A fab time

Our first family holiday abroad and it did not disappoint, everyone was so friendly they could not do enough for you. The staff were always happy. Food was lovely, something for everyone. Lovely pools and gardens just a lovely setting, definitely go there again

This is our second visit as a family to Mitsis Norida. It’s just fabulous from the location to the staff to the food and facilities. It’s a gorgeous spot right in the beach. A fully equipped outdoor gym and running routes. Highly recommend! Had the best price with Expedia too.

We have just got back from Mitsis - on a girls only holiday. We stayed for 4 days and we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room upgrade to the mezzanine room was great, spacious and great view (933) , the 3 a la carte restaurants were good and they have accommodated out request to sit by the sea side - staff very attentive. Breakfast and lunch are standard , always something to pick from. Creperie and pizza by the beach was very good. Special thanks to Fotini at the front desk , who sorted us with late check out ! Overall great place

Basic hotel, nice beach. Swimming pool was nice but the water was sometimes not clear. Food was most of the time good, had good taste but i may have some more variety. People from the hotel made it possible for us to make a reservation in the other restaurant because it was always reserved. They are kind and helpful. We didn’t see much animation.

Rooms are dated and in need of refurbishment. We complained about our room and were upgraded to a maisonette which was much nicer. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and the pool and beach area are lovely. The pool area gets very busy so you will need to early to secure a spot. That said there was plenty of space on the beach and we found some lovely cabana type beds which were great for a couple. We ate in the restaurant nearest the beach which served breakfast, lunch and dinner and the service was great. Choice and quality of food was really good. Overall we had a really lovely few days away and would recommend the hotel.

Food was nice, good variety of things to choose from buffet although lots of flies around some of the food sections. Impossible to get a booking in one of the main restaurants. Bar staff were moody, room was nice and clean. Nothing to do close by for walks etc. Most of the evening entertainment was boring.

The property is nice and peaceful, it is away from the centre, but their is a bus to take you thier. I think the rooms do need updating and the buffet restaurant to bring it to 5* and also needs to serve branded drinks which i was told they did before i booked so was abit dissappointed in this. The pool area is lovely. I also think it needs water machines so you dont need to queue up for it as the queues where sometimes quite long with 1 person serving.

The food is mediocre. Same stuff everyday. The la carte restaurant are unavailable. We stayed five nights and we’re lucky to get one night at one of three of the La Carte restaurants, which was better than the main buffet restaurant. Note that distance of room to the pools/beach vary. We had a room up the hill, which meant that you will not return to the room more than once a day. The lines for drinks are a bit long, expect an average of 5-10 minutes wait to get your drink.

8/10 for property, aesthetics, pool and views. 3/10 for customer service, receptionist dark hair older lady was deliberately very rude any time I went to the desk she would begin to speak to me then answer a call in the middle and put her finger up to tell me to wait every time, however, I never witnessed her do this to any other customers. The pasta chef, very rude, the morning omelette chef rude, banging pans and grumpy, and the crêpe staff all very dismissive, it's like you're asking for a favour just to be served. However, the welcome hosts to the main buffet were always friendly and smiley as well as the main waiters and the cleaner for our room were very polite and lovely. It is a shame for the poor quality of the other staff members as the resort itself is beautiful, rooms are spacious and clean, but purely based on the service, I wouldn't feel comfortable to return again.

Great pool area and service, old rooms

The pool area and the all inclusive service is great, great food options and drinks, great cocktails and very good a la carte considering its all inclusive. The rooms however need a redo and are not at all 5 star, they are more 3 star. We had a family room with sea view, the sea view and balcony was great, they also had a baby crib and the room was large. But the beds, facilities and bathrooms need to be redone. Overall an ok experience but compared to Mitsis Blue Domes the room and facilities are lacking and in general 3 star not 5 star. Service was friendly though and the pool area was great which made up for some or this. Pool chairs are hard to get though…last ones are gone by 8 am. Probably a better option when it’s not high season. We would stay at Mitsis chain again but not this specific hotel maybe…it all depend on the price and renovations done to the rooms. With room renovations they will be a true 5 star and can charge more. Kids club/room also needs a renovation and was not so clean and good. View from a la carte restaurants is amazing but that’s also newly built so everything newly built is great, the old stuff not so much.

We arrived quite late at night, and check in was soooo slow. Only 1 staff member and a lot if guest arrived. They insisted on us being dropped off by buggie to the room, which was a nice touch but not needed. They didn't really give us any directions or a map of the hotel. We had a mezzanine room which was very big, but the decor is very dated. It was lovely to have a bathroom each and plenty of space. The Aircon unit in our room dripped a lot a water onto the floor we did report it twice but it wasn't fixed and we would wake up with a puddle on the floor and a dripping noise. However, room was always restocked and cleaned everyday! Pools are quite dirty, they have a build up of black/green algae or dirt, couldn't be sure? Beach is lovely, plenty of beds available throughout the day. Bar service is quick, sometimes they didn't have the ingredients for drinks we wanted, but there was always and alternative. The casablanca bar in the evening was great, staff were very attentive and really lovely. We enjoyed the grill and fish restaurant. The Ni Hao restaurant is aesthetically lovely. But the food is poor quality. The sushi is ok, but not fresh, definitely made off site and the bao bun was just basically a KFC burger. The chicken curry was very very bland and the sechuan beef was tasteless with very overcooked beef. The dessert was also very disappointing, the sorbet was like glue and the apple fritter was hard and like the texture was like chalk. I wouldn't recommen
