It was awfully packed over the full moon weekend (would not recommend visiting during this period)! This pavilion-like structure at the front Paththirippuwa, or Octagon. It is a symbol of identity in Kandyan Architecture. In the olden days, the king would stand there to address his citizens who were gathered in front of him. The golden roof behind stands over the Buddha tooth relic that this temple is famous for. Great view

The view was amazing. If you wish to enjoy the beautiful forest view, I strongly recommend the hotel. They don’t have toothbrushes or comb. You need to have them yourself, but this is standard in Sri Lanka. The manager was super kind and helped to plan my journey.

Small simple hotel with a fantastic view

The hotel is very far up the hills so a bit tricky to get to, but the view is spectacular! Large room, comfy beds and hot water in the shower (bring shampoo etc.). The staff is only three people so don’t expect usual service during the day. We missed mattresses on the sunbeds and access to coffee maker and snacks to buy. But friendly staff and the manager is a huge Abba fan!

Inget att åka tillbaka till.

Låg helt off, jättesvårt att hitta. Maten tog 1,5 h o va kall när vi fick den. Beställde vatten o fick i en kanna. Vi va helt själva o ändå hade dom inget till chauffören. Fanns inget att dricka på hotellet. Dom va trevliga där mot oss. Så inge fel på service. Helthetskänslan va väldigt creepy.

Amazing lokation, but rural. Great service and friendly staf. We got room nr 4, with the best view. The bed felt broken and was realy noicy. That was the only negative. The pool was clean and nice.

Skønt sted, fantastisk udsigt

Fantastisk ophold, meget venligt og mødekommende personale. Super smuk udsigt som vi sent vil glemme. Fint stor familieværelse med komfortable senge, pænt og rent. Uovertruffen hjælp og service især da vi havde brug for at komme på hospitalet midt om natten. Hotelmanageren sørgede for transport og tog med som ‘tolk’, meget betryggende.

Unikt lille sted - tæt på Kandy

Simpelthen det skønneste sted! Nyt og fint med den skønneste udsigt og en fantastisk ro. Vi boede 2 voksne og 3 børn på et meget rummeligt familieværelse med balkon med udsigt ud over bjergene. Skøn pool som ungerne nød.
