"This was our last stay in Sri Lanka & turned out to be a very relaxing end to our holiday. its right on the river & you can take a boat ride under the mangroves from the hotel's jetty - a memorable, scenic ride. the view of the river from the balcony of our room gave us a serene calm feeling. tables & chairs are provided outside each room on the balcony which can be serviced from a separate entrance. "Unfortunately this place is in desperate need of investment. The kerb appeal is very good but the jetty for example is falling into the river and not as pictured. The room wasn't very clean which is a great pity as the owner is very friendly. The food was lovely, we had both Breakfast and evening meals and could not fault them. It just a great shame that it is not as good as it could be. If the owner makes a investment in his property he could definitely charge more to stay."

"Such an amazing place to stay. Beautiful property right on a beach that is perfect for swimming. I stayed in a room which faced the ocean. Very private and quiet at night. The host prepared breakfast for me in the morning which was delicious including fresh fruits and homemade juice. The room was extremely clean. "What a lovely location! I selected this hotel on a whim to relax after a busy tour. What a lovely place on a quiet cobblestone lane. The back faces the lagoon with a lovely view, water sports are available and the front faces the ocean and long sandy beach. Exquisite rooms, delightful staff, a charming hotel.
