"Cleaning service was slow"

"My stay was a nightmare, not just due to a massive bug infestation after a storm, but because of the front desk’s dismissive and unprofessional attitude. On our first night, hundreds of bugs swarmed our entrance and bathroom. After I called, housekeeping came to vacuum. Housekeeping was kind and cleared the bugs, advising us to keep all lights off. We complied immediately. However, the swarm returned shortly after. I was forced to kill bugs and block the door gap with towels to block them from entering. The next morning, I requested a room change, showing photo evidence that while our door (near the elevator/vent where the bugs entered) was swarmed, others were clear. The front desk agreed to change but her response was unprofessional: 1. Gaslighting: The agent repeatedly insinuated it was my fault, questioning if I left lights on 2 times despite my assurances that we followed all instructions. 2. Absurd Deflections: When shown that other rooms were clean she claimed maybe other guests used bug repellent. It is the hotel’s responsibility, not the guests’, to manage pest control. My Not to mention I had already sprayed until I could barely breathe with no effect. 3. Rude Communication: When I explained the towel-blocking was unsustainable, she interrupted me with an impatient, insincere "sorry." 4. Lack of Transparency: No warning was given at check-in about the light/bug issue. We later discovered bugs were entering through a vent near the elevator directly next to our room."

"The unit was spotlessly clean — we're talking white-glove clean. Beds were freshly made, the place was immaculate, and every corner of the space felt genuinely cared for. It's clear the team takes real pride in the property. Speaking of the team — wow. Any question we had was answered quickly and warmly. They felt less like a property management company and more like locals who actually wanted us to have the best trip possible."

"Pros: Biggest plus at this condo was location -- steps from the beach, dining, shops, etc. One bedroom condo was also very clean when we arrived, well supplied, and spacious. Great pool, especially midday when everyone is at the beach. Kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of tp. Condo was quiet and beautiful landscaping provides a lot of privacy. Cons: No view so we did not spend time on the lanai. Water filter needs replacing; no through the door chilled water while we were there. Keurig needs descaling. Single AC unit in living room is noisy and leaking on the patio. Bed was noisy and not especially comfortable and pillows were tired and need replacing. Receiving a map before check in would have helped with parking; we had to schlep a bunch of stuff down the hill while trying to locate our place. More parking in lower lot would have been helpful, but doesn't look like room to expand. We stayed for a week and the place felt like home. We enjoyed our stay here."

"Was a beautiful place we only booked it for one night and we really loved it there so we booked another night just in a different room but still equally wonderful staff was great. Property was beautiful."

"Great place to stay. Walking distance to the beach (across the street from the complex). Walking distance to coffee shops and shopping. Easy short drive to Safeway for groceries. Condos have what you need and nothing more; but who goes to Hawaii to stay in the condo all day? You came for what’s outside so it’s perfect. :)"

"Did not get the second parking spot we were promised and told to fight for the visitor parking spots! Accused of smoking in the room and threatened to be charged $500 just as we checked out and it was Neighbor suite, everyday most of the day, pool code given was wrong. Elevator out until last day but the Kona low was cause and won’t blame them. Room is great, location is great, but management group is poor! "

"Terrific location. Maybe the best location I could’ve asked for. The photos shown were not of the suite we stayed in and not the same address originally given. Stained, water damaged wall in the bathroom. Bathroom stinks a bit, and not just from dropping a duece. Missing specified amenities, like hair dryer and Netflix, which were remedied same day once complaints were made. Cockroaches are common in Maui apparently. I don’t appreciate being bait and switched, but the location more than made up for it. Don’t hesitate to stay with this agent, it is definitely suitable, just Don’t expect it to match the photos on Expedia "
