Wonderful location, a short walk to restaurants, shops and beaches. The condo and property grounds were VERY well taken care of and groomed. Beautiful gardens and waterfalls. The pools were very relaxing and our experience was definitely one we will remember. A++

Pure Aloha Spirit! Our stay here was absolutely magical. The property is surrounded by lush greenery and the atmosphere is so peaceful. Watching the sunrise from the lanai with a coffee was the highlight of our mornings. The room was airy, beautifully decorated, and felt like a true Hawaiian home. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful property. Close to the beach-Kamaole beaches just across the street. Good location. Room had beach accessories such as chairs, umbrellas, toys, goggles, ice bags for picnics. Overall clean. We will use this property again when we return!

The unit was spotlessly clean — we're talking white-glove clean. Beds were freshly made, the place was immaculate, and every corner of the space felt genuinely cared for. J’ai passé un excellent séjour au Signature Residences at Maui Banyan. La chambre était très propre, bien équipée et confortable, avec tout ce qu’il faut pour se sentir comme à la maison. Le personnel a été particulièrement agréable et réactif, toujours disponible pour répondre à nos questions. La piscine est très bien entretenue et agréable pour se détendre après une journée de visite, et le bain à remous était suffisamment chaud pour vraiment en profiter. L’emplacement est un vrai plus, avec la plage à proximité et un cadre magnifique. C’est un endroit idéal pour se reposer tout en ayant accès facilement aux activités de l’île. Je recommande sans hésiter cet hébergement pour un séjour à Maui !

From the moment we arrived, Maui Banyan exceeded every expectation. The property is immaculate — our unit was spotlessly clean, thoughtfully appointed, and felt like a true home away from home rather than a generic hotel room. The location in Kihei is unbeatable. You’re steps from the beach, walking distance to great restaurants and shops along South Kihei Road, and perfectly positioned to explore everything South Maui has to offer. We never felt like we needed to drive far for anything. The pool and amenities are outstanding — well-maintained, never overcrowded, and a genuinely relaxing place to spend the afternoon after a morning at the beach. It’s the kind of resort where you don’t feel the need to leave. What really set this stay apart was the responsiveness of the host. Every question we had was answered quickly and warmly — it made the whole experience feel seamless and stress-free from check-in to checkout.

******I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE******** I booked a stay through Expedia, and the property was materially misrepresented. The listing clearly advertised laundry amenities including a washing machine and laundry facilities. However, the property confirmed in writing that there is no in-unit laundry. Also, the spa they refer to is a hot tub. There is no spa that offers massages. The listed amenities were part of our booking decision. We left two days early and went to another accommodation.

Check in was a little confusing as there is no front desk. Was supposed to get an email and never got it, called them and everthing got solved. Parking was free, but dont forget to get your parking pass at the Outrigger Desk. Room was ok, bed was comfortable. Room had washer and dryer which was convenient. Don't know if it was because of recent flooding and moisture we did see a couple of roaches in the room. But outside I saw signs they were doing extermination, there was a small detour to the place as the road was damaged due to recent flooding all in all we had a good stay. And would probably stay again. Mostly minor inconveniences but we kind of expected it due to all the flooding Maui had in the recent days before we got there.

Little touches like that make a huge difference and show how much thought has gone into the guest experience. Communication with the host was seamless — fast, friendly, and genuinely helpful when we had a question about local snorkeling spots. You can tell this property is managed by people who actually care, not just about the booking, but about making your trip truly memorable. Whether you’re coming with family, a partner, or a group of friends, this is the kind of place that makes a Maui vacation unforgettable. We’ve stayed at a lot of vacation rentals over the years — this one stands in a category of its own.

Roaches, bugs, rusty appliances, appliances didn’t work. Aesthetically it was disappointing. There were no matching towels. The silverware didn’t match. The closet doors didn’t close, the mirrors were chipped.. I specifically asked the rental company if the property was updated and they said it was tiptop condition. It’s a total lie.

We stayed at one of the Signature Residences at Maui Banyan for a quick getaway and honestly wish we'd booked longer. Check-in was seamless — instructions arrived well before arrival and the keyless entry worked first try, which matters when you land late and just want to drop your bags. The unit itself is in great shape. Kitchen had everything we needed (good knives, real coffee maker, not the sad hotel-style stuff), the AC was quiet and cold, and the lanai caught the afternoon trade winds perfectly. Beds were actually comfortable — firm but not stiff — and the linens felt fresh. Little things you notice: quality towels, real pressure in the shower, clean grout. Somebody cares about this place. Location is the real win. You're a two-minute walk to Kamaole Beach II (our favorite of the three), and Kihei's restaurants are right there. We grabbed coffee at Akamai, dinner at Fabiani's, and watched the sunset from the sand without ever moving the car. The pool area at the Banyan is lovely too — we had it almost to ourselves in the morning. Communication from the host was responsive without being intrusive. Checkout was simple. Would book again in a heartbeat. If you're trying to decide between the generic hotels further up the strip and this — pick this. It's the same price range with a real kitchen, more space, and actual character. Mahalo!

The property was large, in an excellent location to beach and other local businesses. There are some things worth mentioning. PROS Property was a short walk to beach, actually across the street. The unit had a dishwasher, washing machine/dryer combo in unit. Beach chairs, beach towels and umbrella was provided. Designated FREE parking spot. Pools were clean and quiet. Full kitchen with utensils provided. AIR CONDITIONER in unit. Lanai/balcony or patio. Outside Property was clean and quiet, exception was resident rooster. CONS Glitch at sign in, but was resolved quickly. There are bugs on Property, it's an island. Some dead bugs in unit, I simply sprayed to make sure nothing came home with us. Photos DO NOT accurately depict condition of unit. Although clean, unit is in need of updating such as: new coat of paint, clean curtains, new clean decor, some minor cosmetic repairs, basically unit looks worn & tired. NOT A 5 star Property, more like 3 Star. In the end, be realistic, most properties on island offer no free parking. For the affordable price of this property, it was ok. Think of motel quality. In the end, the PROS out-wayed the CONS.

The room was listed as a two bedroom, I expected it to be a single unit but management emailed me to notify that the booking was for two separate units right next to each other. It worked out well for us because we were a group of two families. Aside from that the unit was very clean, and spacious. I loved that it was right across from the beach ! The field next to us had deer! Which was an awesome surprise! The unit came equipped with all the cooking equipment, we were able to make breakfast and dinner which was a huge money saver. I also loved that they provided water filters so we didn’t have to spend the extra money on drinking water! I would book here again.

The place was not stocked up well and the appliances like coffee machine were dirty. Things were minimally maintained abd the beach equipment was so dirty and smelly, I had yo wash the beach towels before using it and beach chairs wete all stained and smelly. But overall it was clean.

we didn’t use the beach chairs but it was that they were available in the closet if you want to go down to the beach. but we did use the cooler that was available. we were there for a football camp for my son and that really came in handy while we were sitting on the bleachers.

We had an entire functioning apartment complete with kitchen, washer and dryer extra towels and each chairs for us to use. In-N-Out was easy with a door code. No card needed a few minute. Walk from the beach in a nice neighborhood.
