"Nice place! Parking is Rough! And Finding your Room Can be difficult! Every time you leave. "

"The property and rooms are dated. The rooms was spacious with a large kitchenette (a full size refrigerator & microwave). We were able to pick up food and drinks which saves a lot of $'s over a week. There's really not much of a beach to enjoy in front of the hotel but Airport beach just to the south is great. The breakfast buffet included in out stay was awful. If I had to pay $25 a person I'd expect eggs that weren't fake. The matketplace cafe has decent food but there's no on site restaurant The pool is decent and a large jacuzzi. Overall, we had a great stay. 3 stars based on other properties we checked out close to the Hilton."

"The view from our loft style Villa was incredible. This isn’t a five star resort, but it’s really fun and people are so friendly here. We really appreciated the full kitchen, beach and pool. I definitely want to come back for another stay. I would live here if I could."

"No cleaning service which isn’t bad unless you want them bugging you. Order your own bathroom supplies and they bring it right to you. Stop and get some food cause it’s a full kitchen. They didn’t give good directions to the second underground parking. Fun place staff was great"

"The property was amazing, the view from our room was great, the location was perfect - walkable to Whaler's Village. However, the room was old, outdated, dark with low ceilings. Everything besides the room was great. Loved the lazy river pool and the luau."

"The Whaler is a beautiful place to stay, the rooms are really nice, kept up to date, clean, the property is immaculate, it has a great pool, and the beach is amazing. It really is paradise! We had a perfect view of the beach and the staff is friendly and accomadating, Ann was great and helped make my Mom and I's stay extra special. Thank you:)"

"I booked an Ocean View room at Royal Lahaina Resort, but the room we received only had a partial side-view of the ocean from the right side of the building. In my opinion, this should not be advertised or sold as a true ocean view room. When someone books ocean view, they expect the ocean to be clearly visible from the room, not only from an angle. Unfortunately, the overall experience was very disappointing, especially because we informed the hotel in advance that we were celebrating our honeymoon. The hotel acknowledged our email and said they would do their best to make our stay memorable. However, when we arrived, there was absolutely nothing special in the room, and the view immediately killed the excitement for both me and my wife. It truly felt like the wrong decision to book this property for such an important occasion. The room itself did not feel modern or luxurious. Amenities were very basic, and the coffee machine in the room was filthy, which was unacceptable for a resort that presents itself as a 4-star property. The service also did not meet expectations. Several staff members at the front desk and around the resort came across as rude and unwelcoming. A resort at this level should train staff properly on how to speak to guests with respect and hospitality. Based on my experience, this does not feel like a true 4-star resort. It feels heavily marketed online, but the actual guest experience did not match the expectations created during booking."
