「Stayed as part of the Stonehaven Folk Festival. The owners were very friendly plus provided excellent access for our arrival time! Breakfast was homemade fresh including fresh baked bread and homemade jams. Full Scottish or continental breakfasts were offered. The hosts even served us extra early on the last morning to help us with our departure flight schedule. Rooms were bright, spacious, and very comfortable with open air skylights and light shades. 「The building and grounds here are absolutely beautiful. It's clearly been a wonderful place to stay at some point. Having said that, our trip was generally very disappointing. We arrived in the evening, and there were no staff at all to be seen. There was a bar open, with music playing, and no staff. A sign noted to call a mobile number for help. The first number rang out repeatedly. On a second call, a person answered and seemed confused about whether any staff remained at the hotel. Eventually...
