I have never had a bad stay at this hotel. I’ve visited this hotel 3 times since July of 2025. This last stay I had mistakenly hit the button for Single Smoking Room. When I discovered my mistake, the front desk staff quickly sorted me, and didn’t charge extra for a double room Non Smoking! The restaurants here are also delicious!

Everything about my stay worked out beautifully. I really appreciate how great a location it is. Train station is right by the hotel, and hotel is at the center of downtown. It is of walking distance to grocery chains. Beautiful reataurant is available on the first floor.

Joetsu is such a beautiful city very rarely visited by foreigners. Go take a walk around the Takada Castle grounds and see all the variety of Giant Lotus flowers. See the amazing art at the museums. Also learn about Samurai history with Kenshin Uesugi!

朝食は新潟名物を食べられて満足。白米の食べ比べなど。 室内のお風呂は浴室から洗面台を見ると汚れが見えてしまい残念。不潔感は無いが古さを感じた点でした。
