NYC from NJ. This is the view of downtown New York from the Morris Canal Park in Jersey City, NJ. The park itself is right in the heart of Jersey City about a half mile from the Path Train Station and the NYC Taxi Waterway. It��’s a small patch of land in the midst of high rise apartments. While I was there, I could see it’s a popular spot among nearby residents who make it a habit to end their hectic day with their children and pets while taking in the view of the financial district as well as the Colgate clock in the foreground. It’s a peaceful and friendly neighborhood as well as I had the opportunity to strike up conversations with several locals.
