The pool was down due to construction majority of our stay but were able to use the pool of the sister hotel next door. When the actual pool opened on our last day, it was very enjoyable with outdoor chairs and nice and big beach towels that the hotel provided for use. 「We chose it cuz decided to go to SC at the last minute and there weren't so much choices for us. Generally, staffs there were okay but it wasn't worth the price for a motel at such condition. Pro: Good location, you could get there easily when going down from the highway. Con: The walls were pretty thin so we could hear people next door talking clearly when it's loud enough.」

「Our stay was fine. The room as clean except for the floor which looked like they mopped without sweeping first. The room was fine other than the springs under the mattress that made a very loud noise if you moved the wrong way or got out of that side of the bed. But it was cleaner than some other rooms Ive stayed at. 」

「We absolutely loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The mansion is beautiful with so much history and our room was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet. The bath was wonderful especially with a fireplace right there. We ate at the restaurant which was incredible- had the two tasting menus which was so fun and highly recommended. Parking is a breeze.
