Excellent hotel in Old Town Jakarta

This was an add on day to my original five day stay I enjoyed the hotel and the staff, especially Tarysa and Erna at the front desk, Julia at the restaurant and Nisa from the Spa and situated in the Old Town the location was ideal for me

Good hotel, good breakfast, good location

Good hotel, good breakfast. Walking distance to café Batavia. No parasols at the pool. Staff had put our suitcases in the wrong vehicle that had almost left for the airport. Only fast running by my son prevented the disappearance of our luggage.

In the hotel, although some of the decorations were tacky because of Lunar New Year. Which has the power because it was close to the Historic Dutch colonial area of Jakarta, which was huge disappointment. The doorman insisted on calling us a taxi instead of letting us go to the street, said it would be four minutes, and 15 minutes later said the taxi had canceled and he would call another. We walked out in the street and held a taxi in less than one minute. The breakfast buffet was beautiful and extensive.

The hotel facilities are good, clean and new. The beds are comfortable and clean. I did not love the neighborhood and wouldnt stay in this location again, but if you need an hotel around the area this is a good option. On our last night, we ordered room service and I was informed that the POS machine wasnt working and that he would return the next day. In the morning, they knocked in our room before 7am to charge, bothering our sleep. Besides that, service was good.

Delayed check in due to room not being ready. However, staff was kind and apologetic in explaining. Also we stayed on the 6th floor and it smelled like cigarette smoke. Not sure if smoking was allowed in the hotel or just on certain floors. But didn’t appreciate that. Also the carpet in the hallway was dirty.

Bad cleaning service!

Cleaning is really not good. Had hair in the sink and around it when arrived, there were no hand towels and cleaning during the stay was not good... The hotel room was refurbished and looked nice, but internet bandwidth and acoustic from other rooms were not good.

The room was ok but basic things were not inside unless you ask for them like hand towels, extra toilet paper etc. room and common areas had roaches so not great either. Area is ok and you are close to Cafe Batavia which is really nice but other than that not much to do around. The same with breakfast, some local items are there but other you have to request for so not ideal.

Really great hotel with amazing staff, clean rooms and nice pool and bars. The breakfast is also really great. The staff is super friendly and helps with all requests. Jovi is one of the staff members and he is a really kind person who does his job very well. Great hotel!

This property has just recently renovated. Everything is clean and well decorated. The hotel also have good facilities from pool, gym to sauna and spa. The bike is free when you want to explore the old town as it is just next to the property.

Love the rooms, service, abd breakfast! Really enjoyed my stay in a clean and newly renovated room. Breakfast spread is pretty decent. Only gripe I had was the amount of mosquitoes in the dining area during breakfast. I wont say its to blame the hotel, may be an area issue.
