Good but needs improvements in room ergonomics.

The hotel was well maintained and the stuff very friendly and helpful. The room quality was good, but the functionality and ergonomics very very poor. For example no closet, but only a bar to hang the clothes and space for the luggage underneath. No lighting at all on this space and it was impossible to See and find things inside the luggage. Many issues also with lighting in the bathroom.

Good, but not good enough

First of all let’s talk about he positives. The hotel is really beautiful, the room (I had a corner suite) is spectacular and the location is terrific. But this wasn’t a perfect stay. There was an issue with the booking that wasn’t resolved until the next day. No guest should be waiting overnight for resolution to an issue (that was clearly their problem) and the staff were very quick to blame my ignorance for the issue, which wasn’t the case at all. Also, the food is average. It’s almost universally tasteless (lack of seasoning) and the meat they use isn’t the best. It’s a good hotel, but I wouldn’t return. There are better in Jakarta.

One of the more luxurious hotels in Central Jakarta. Nice location. Superb Breakfast. Great staff. The only downfall was our phone in the room was not working even after we notified staff and the engineer came and repaired it. It still have to be repaired again. However great hotel

An incredible lodging and cooking experience

I stayed at Keraton at The Plaza in Jakarta for three nights. Already on arrival, you can see that it is an elite hotel that is specially designed for a distinguished group of people. Check-in is personal. The keys are delivered in a leather wallet. In the first night, I had dinner at "La Moda" at Plaza Shopping, and I had a distinct pleasure to eat amazingly delicious Lobster rice. In the following day, the lunch was Lamb Rack at "The Executive club lounge" at 5th floor. The meat was carefully baked to the point I ordered, and the taste was perfect. The "Executive club lounge" also offers Asian and Western options for breakfast and I chose the Mie Goreng which is a typical dish. Nasi goreng is a unique option for in-room dining. For those who like excellent service and stylish environment, I recommend dinner at "Bengawan" on the 7th floor. The Tasmanian salmon was delicious. Don't forget to try Tapas at Keraton lounge. The SPA on the 6th floor offers good treatment options. I chose a 1h45m massage which was so relaxing that I did not even see the time pass. I recommend the hotel, its elite facilities and its excellent restaurants with absolute certainty and I hope to return soon to try the other dishes.

I only stay for 1 night for out Anniversary, 1st the gave us room facing the construction so later on i ask them if it possible to change room, and they move us to a better view room..with the help of the manager Mr. Alan (if i’m not mistaken). Our butler ms. Ruri also help me made a reservation for our dinner, and when they found out i’m on my wedding anniversary.. they also gave us a small tiramisu cake to the room..and the breakfast was superb, they also have a la carte menu for us to order beside the buffet, the menu it self different from what we have on buffet.. my husband had a lobster benedict for breakfast and it was so delicious made by chef candra.. we also serve by the helpful mr shekyu that made our breakfast very enjoyable.. fells like we have our own butler ... definitely will be back again.. with the kids .. thank You Hotel Keraton.. keep up the good work

Good Location. Staff were all very fast, helpful, and courteous. Toiletries by Byredo was great. There's a Bose sound system in the room which can go pretty loud. TV quality was not very good though.

All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. From Room service, check-in/out, Breakfast and Spa, I really have no complaints at all and strongly recommend you to stay in this hotel. Just an improvement: the bathroom's floor is wet very easily because of the shower, so be careful.
