The property was in an excellent location in walking distance to many restaurants, shopping, and town square. The hotel itself was only average and the floor should have been wet mopped and the parking was limited. We found the staff to not be very friendly but they did answer our questions.

The hotel was a great location, close to town square & the staff was friendly & helpful. However, it was really noisy, we could hear the people in the room upstairs stomping around as well as the walkway outside of our room. Parking was also an issue, there were only about 7 spots by the hotel & we were told parking on the street was restricted, some places you could park over night & then had to move our car every 3 hours.

Part of the property was under construction during our stay. Parking on-site was very limited, so we had to park on the street and move the car early in the morning. Unfortunately, our room was located right next to the construction area, and noise started as early as 6 AM.

The Anvil was a great place to stay. It is located within walking distance to everything in Jackson. The rooms are well appointed and clean. The grab and go breakfast was really good and convenient if you are heading out to the parks. My only concern is there is very limited parking. If you aren’t able to find a space in their lot you have to park on the street. And during the day parking is limited to 3 hours. So if you are taking a tour and leaving your car that can be a problem.

Rooms are small and a little old but they keep the interior somewhat clean. The outside consisted of a few different construction projects. Our room’s air didn’t work, and we noticed every room but ours had a window unit installed. We had to ask the front desk for one at 10 PM and maintenance came and installed one.

It was super clean really nice people checking you in and out great breakfast and it was really really wonderful proximity to village Square. A few things that could be better was I was on the upper floor and the person next to me for both nights. I was there had their TV blaring and there’s just not a lot of insulation between the rooms. The rooms are extremely small, but other than that it was a lovely stay.

There is very limited parking and this is not mentioned on the website. The room was extremely small. The shower was not clean so we skipped that. There was an additional charge that staff could not explain. Had I not caught it, it would have posted to my credit card. Breakfast is in a bag and you get no choice. For the price of the room, I expected much better service and amenities.

The staff were rude and very indifferent in assisting or answering inquiries. The breakfast was not served until after we had to leave and when asked desk staff the answer was “we normally let next shift do that”. The parking was torn up so there was a free for all for street parking. We were very disappointed with the Anvil.

We checked in and were told our room was in a construction zone. It was noisy, smelled like asphalt, and there was no parking. There was also no AC which wasn’t indicated online. I have asked for compensation and am still waiting.

Great staff and location. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants and just across the street from the airport shuttle bus. The lobby is warm and inviting with a wood stove, books, and board games to enjoy. We would definitely stay here again.

This is my third time staying in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and my first staying at the Anvil Hotel. Never again. There was ZERO parking. They had dumpsters and supplies blocking the little parking they had for guests. Some of the staff at the Anvil Hotel were very rude. I had to request an ironing board and iron for the room. I called the front desk and they put me on hold four separate times and never took me off of hold until I blurted out my request after calling a fifth time. They never brought an iron and ironing board to my room. The room was clean, however, we had a window air conditioning unit that let mosquitos in over night resulting in large amounts of bites being found every morning. Overall, our experience with the Anvil Hotel was less than pleasing. Really left a damper on our trip considering it was for our one year wedding anniversary.
