"It's my "go-to" place to stay annually in Watkins Glen and seems fairly popular so you need to book early. It's got a great view of the Lake, you can have breakfast down there and enjoy the sand, and while some may be deterred by the 1+ mile distance from downtown, it's a quick 20-minute walk down the tracks along the lake from your room to some great places to eat and shop, as well as the Gorge Trail. "
