Bare bones, but perfect for what we were needing. Just a room to sleep in while we were out enjoying the area during the day. Very easy to check in. The staff was very nice and parking was easy.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Everything was very clean, had fresh coat of white paint, and new laminate flooring. This is a low-budget place, but acceptable accommodations. The curtains didn't quite cover the window, but the bed was comfortable. Very close to Watkins Glen and several wineries on Seneca Lake. We would stay again.

The space is as advertised - a motel with a breathtaking view. The staff literally live onsite and were very kind and accommodating. It’s great for solo travel which is what I’m doing. I will be back next year!

For a “motel” it was way nicer than expected. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were super soft!! The view in the morning was a plus. The only downfall was the shower, it got cold at one point. Other than that it was a nice place to lay our head while traveling.

My wife and I take a 3-day vacation in Watkins Glen, visiting Watkins Glen State Park and Buttermilk Falls Park. I find the motel online. Both my wife and I are very satisfied with the cleanness and room-air quality of Gorgeous View Motel. Mike, the person in charge, receives us in a very warm way, making us feel at home. The parking is so easy just a few steps from our room. I recommend the motel with no reservation. I wish Gorgeous View Motel always success.

The room was very clean. The bed was made before we got back to our room. The bathroom was clean. Be careful in the parking lot, you may roll into the lake. Basically, it’s all in the name!

Michael greeted us upon arrival with a simple and easy check-in and check-out process. To our surprise, the staff cleaned our room daily. I highly recommend the Gorgeous View Motel for a restful nights sleep and easy access to all that the Watkins Glen area has to offer.

Just a simple roadside motel. Right across the street from Seneca Lake, all of the rooms have a beautiful view. The name “gorgeous view motel” fits. The people that ran, the hotel were absolutely friendly and helpful, the room was simple, but clean, the bed was comfortable, it had a microwave, a fridge and a coffee pot, and the Wi-Fi was fast enough to stream video. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thank you.

No pets. But we don't travel with pets. No smoking, but we don't smoke anyways. Wish they had a pool, but the view of the lake and all the fireworks was awesome! They even did fireworks in their own front! Easy to get in, out, and comfortable. 10/10!
