"A beautiful spot in the forest, although just a bit far from the sights in Nara. The staff was lovely and the room quite comfortable, by Western standards for a Japanese room (although the futons were by far the hardest and most uncomfortable of the three ryokans we visited). "Excellent location. Hotel is located just next to the OCAT bus terminal. So we took OCAT from KIX straight to the bus terminal. Very convenient. There’s the subway next to the hotel and a short 10 walk to Namba main shopping street. There’s also a Family Mart at the basement of the hotel building. A supermarket outside at the corner. We stayed 3 nights, couldn’t hear noise from neighbors which was good. Will stay here again on our upcoming Osaka trip. Drip coffee pod machine in the room was a pleasant bonus surprise! "
