The amenity is lacking a few things (for example, it tells the guest to wash dishes and put them away but doesn’t provide a clothe to dry them). Also, the instruction isn’t super clear. The instruction reads to leave the key on the table when checking out (that’s what it says literary in English), when in fact you need to lock and put the key in the lockbox as one example. Also the road to access the property is quite narrow...

"A beautiful spot in the forest, although just a bit far from the sights in Nara. The staff was lovely and the room quite comfortable, by Western standards for a Japanese room (although the futons were by far the hardest and most uncomfortable of the three ryokans we visited). "This is an amazing hotel with an unbeatable location directly above a train station (Kitahama). Having three major convenience stores nearby—including a Family Mart on the ground floor—made our stay incredibly easy.
The rooms were impressively spacious, and the bathroom was significantly larger than others we encountered during our trip. The staff was wonderful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. If you’re visiting from mid-week through the weekend, don’t miss the lounge events; the DJ sets added a great vibe to the experience. Highly recommended for the space and convenience—we will definitely book again!"
