"We had a nice stay overall. The staff was friendly, and the food was good. There wasn't any hot water, but that was only an issue with showering. But not having hot water was pretty common throughout Nicaragua."

"The hotel real la Merced was so beautiful and clean, excellent service and delicious food in their restaurant. What's missing is a hot Jacuzzi by the pool for after touring Nicaragua all day. The are is in great location for restaurants but it's very dirty, noisy and dangerous. Lots of hungry people ..."
