「Proper stay for a night or two. Very friendly welcome at the bar. Room was recently renovated with a good mattress and clean bathroom. Improvement points: Hallway to the rooms smells to smoking. Service at breakfast could be improved, the lady seemed in a bad mood.」

「The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. 「The rooms were clean and to be expected for a hostel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the large common area and the available bar. We were just passing through so didn't get to explore the surrounding area but there is lots to do and see. We enjoyed the available breakfast and there is a large common kitchen.」
