"Lovely 2 night stay with my daughter. Twin bedroom lovely decor all the amenities were great. We had breakfast each morning which was delicious sampled all day breakfast, eggs benedict and pancakes all done really well. Parking was directly situated outside always found a space to park. The location of the hotel is 5 star stunning views and being able to literally walk out of hotel and be on the beach in under 2 minutes is great. Highly recommend will stay again"

"Hotel location and quality for price were outstanding. However breakfast was quite poor (and worse than other reviews indicated) and although restaurant staff were excellent and attentive the food quality was disappointing on both occasions. Would go back though but would eat elsewhere."

"Good experience. I hadn't noticed that the train line passed straight out of the bedroom window so it was quite noisy. Otherwise, a good stay"

"Lovely room. Excellent value for money for the price. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel very clean and well maintained. We don’t use the bar and restaurant but it looked really nice. Would definitely book again and stay longer next time. Thank you San Clu!"

"We loved having a room with a view of the sea. And a little private terrace to go with it. Very beautiful as dusk fell. Being in the heart of the Old Town was great. However, for a top room (£300+a night), we were expecting something more 'special.' The beds were comfy, the linen lovely, and the art work charming, but the room didn't feel special, and it felt tired. A friendly guy brought us milk for our coffee at 8am - but why was it not in the room? No mini fridge either. A mini fridge is pretty much standard in a pricey room! We'd heard the breakfasts were great. However, the eggs, though perfectly poached, were smothered in manufactured gloop. So, a mixed bag! However, the staff (especially the waitress at breakfast) were lovely."

"Excellent location. We were fortunate that we were able to park opposite otherwise that would have been an issue feeding meters etc. Room was an average size with a lovely sea view. Bed was a king and very comfortable. Breakfast experience was disappointing. We were charged for literally everything separately. Teas and coffee, toast and jam (marmalade not available!) were all charged as extras. Also, a service charge was added on top of this. Having said that the breakfast room was a beautiful space and the young waitress was very lovely. We raised this complaint with Fi the receptionist and she took it very much on board and as a recompense waived a small drinks bill that was outstanding! I have to say that Fi was superb at her job. Very personable, helpful and enthusiastic in all her dealings with us. Would definitely stay again but next visit we will push the boat with a room that has a balcony!"
