"Booked through Hotels.com and there were some differences between the description on the Hotels.com site and the actual accommodation, Would recommend checking the property’s actual website to manage your expectations. Although this is a “lodge” the rooms are very similar to a hall of residence dormitory room - stark but functional. No hairdryers so take your own, Compact bathroom (no bath). Some ongoing upgrade work going on but there is a notice up apologising for the appearance in some areas, Grounds are pleasant (weather permitting). Windows in room can only be looked out of by standing up. Plenty of car parking spaces, wifi is patchy in rooms but worked well in the communal lounge. Shower was very noisy but powerful and heated up quickly. Staff were friendly and made a lot of effort to be helpful, Good location for exploring the local area."

"Staff very helpful room was clean .both bedroom lamps not working wardrope was wobbly and not safe for kids possibility off fallen over i would warn people that there is a pub underneath hotel that turns into a dancing and is loud thats why earplugs are left at main door on your way in"

"Ariundle house is a home away from home. The staff seem to love their job and are always cheerful and friendly even when you’re running late as we did. Food was left for us in the fridge. The food is beautiful! Real homecooking. I warmly recommend Ariundle house!"
