「Room was great a little far from everything but staff was wonderful. Gave a 3 star due to distance and weather was not great had to eat dinner in our room for 2 nights due to restaurant being outdoors. Beautiful resort though.」

「Villas HM Palapas del Mar is a little piece of paradise. The beachfront palapas and hammocks are located on a gorgeous section of beach, the grounds of the hotel themselves are very well cared for and lush but what really stood out for us was the attention of Mike and all the staff in the restaurant. 「Room and the whole experience was excellent! Exactly how described when you choose your booking. And more: very friendly and accommodating staff. Great breakfast, authentic to the location with attention to detail and prepared with pride. Location could not be better - right on the beach, quiet, away from the loud and sometimes abnoxious music of hotels and bars “downtown “. Unless it’s a vibe you are going for. Would strongly recommend!」

「Bed was comfortable but the pillows were hard and lumpy. More than one roll of toilet paper a day would have saved us from visting the front desk to get other rolls during our stay. Didn't like only having cold water to shower in. Pools would look more inviting if the bottoms were painted blue instead of the off-gray colour. Ladies on the front desk and the beach bar were pleasant and attentative. More sun shades over the beach lounges would be good and they would stop the birds from dropping...
